The Coaching Experience

About My Coaching Approach:

My coaching sessions are designed to help you tap into the knowledge and self-reflective capabilities you already have. Instead of giving you answers, I guide you through open questions, coaching techniques, and thoughtful facilitation, empowering you to arrive at your own best solutions.

Each of us is unique, and each person is their own best guide. My role is to support you in identifying and reaching those goals that may feel just out of reach. Through our work together, you’ll gain clarity, confidence, and actionable insights to move forward with purpose.

The Coaching Experience:

The first step is a complimentary chemistry session. It's an opportunity for us to share more about ourselves, our personal styles, and determine if we are a good match for working together.

From there, we will schedule recurring sessions based on your needs, whether bi-weekly or monthly. This cadence ensures steady progress while allowing flexibility for reflection and growth.

Your journey is uniquely yours, and my role is to help you uncover the clarity, confidence, and trust already within you. Coaching isn’t about giving you my answers, it’s about guiding you to discover the best answers for YOU. Through reflection, open dialogue, and supportive techniques, you’ll gain the insight to move toward the life you envision.

If you're ready to explore your next steps with curiosity and self-trust, I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

Coaching and Therapy

What's the difference between coaching and therapy? While therapy often delves into past experiences and emotions, coaching takes a forward-looking stance, aiming to guide you toward your goals. In our coaching sessions, we'll collaboratively navigate both the practical and emotional dimensions, creating a roadmap for your personal and relational growth.

Focus and Orientation

  • Coaching: Centers on current goals, personal development, and future aspirations.

  • Therapy: Often explores past experiences and emotions to address psychological concerns.

Nature of the Relationship

  • Coaching: A collaborative partnership where the coach and client work together toward the client's goals.

  • Therapy: May have a more clinical dynamic, with the therapist guiding the process.

Problem Solving

  • Coaching: Emphasizes practical problem-solving and skill development.

  • Therapy: Often explores emotions and psychological patterns without an immediate focus on skills.

Communication Style

  • Coaching: Forward-focused, action-oriented, and rooted in positive psychology.

  • Therapy: May involve deeper exploration of emotions and the therapeutic relationship.

Holistic vs Clinical Approach

  • Coaching: Holistic approach addressing various aspects of life, including relationships and personal development.

  • Therapy: Clinical approach often focused on mental health symptoms and diagnosis.

Personal Perspective

  • Coaching: As a coach, I can provide perspective based on my own personal experiences, enhancing the collaborative nature of the relationship.

  • Therapy: Therapists typically do not self-disclose personal experiences as part of the therapeutic process.
